    Park search this morning

Went out to a park I haven't been to since last November. It is next to a school site that the school was demo'd and they are building a new school there. Our club had some club hunts at the school demo site last year.
Got to the park and it was about 50 degrees but when the sun came up it started getting nice.

Started on the totlot which was pretty clean for some unknown reason Guess someone with a MXT Pro got there 1st.

I did manage to get 1 lone item from the woodchips.

Too bad it's just a cheapy plated ring. Rang in like a penny and is too light to be silver. The stone isn't a real diamond--my Mizar tester said it's fake. After that I searched in the grass and searched some of the soccer field area and found 3 wheats and a tag with the owners name and age.... I guess that's what the tag is------thinkingabout:

It was a good day with 3 older coins found and a ring--even though it is a junque one.

50* I'd take 40 right about now. Too bad the ring is not real. They should be illegal lol But 3 wheats sounds like the park is old enough for silver. Congrats on getting out today thumbsup01

I've dug 3 good gold rings and over 3 dozen gold plated rings in the last 4 years.
