February 6th & 7th it finally got warm enough

The snow is deep since the bad storm we had come through but the temps were very tolerable. I ran in relic mode both days and it sure did seem nice to get out detecting. I went to a park/woods about a mile from here where I've hammered the woods section of the park for years. I was using my relic shovel which makes things much easier for this kind of hunting but I also brought my regular Lesche along. I have always wondered what all those bigger iron targets were and if I clear a lot of them away that will open up some new spots for coins when the snow melts. I did make some neat finds too, I managed to clean the lineman pliers up with electrolysis and finally free them up and they really work good for stripping wire and everything, they're M. Klein & Sons brand and were made in Chicago.
Well it looks like I'll be getting a break from detecting till probably Saturday cause the temps have dropped down to about 10 and won't be going back up till Saturday and it will be warm enough to thaw so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Klien tools made here in Chicago are the standard linemans pliers in the industry. They are of the best quality and a nice find!
