    Needed some peace

    and quiet... Got out for a few hours this morning. Started at the old woods site. I found where the main dumps were. Why are there always clam shells in the dump pits? Anyway, found the complete hubley cap gun, fishing reel, plated spoon and broken bottles. Only had the lesche. Next time back I'll bring the shovel and see what turns up. After, I hit the school yard for some cladding. The ground was nice and soft today. I would have hit the beach but my daughter was calling and wanted to go out. Have a great weekend.

    just where is all your snow Mr. Steve i want to get out and detect so bad :bangshead02: :bangshead02: :bangshead02: those all look like nice areas to hunt congrats on the finds , especially the Hubley thumbsup01

    Nice cap gun Steve,,,that fishing reel looks pretty old
    I can only please one person per day,,,today is not your day,,,tomorrow isn't looking good either.

    Hey Dan! The weather has been pretty nice the past few days. LOTS of rain yesterday washed most of the snow away thumbsup01

    Great find on that Hubley Steve, it looks in great shape for a diecast, usually they're rotted away thumbsup01 I wish we would get some rain to was away the snow but all we've been getting is more snow.

    Sounds like a dream lol Congrats on being able to get out and have some fun time. Looks like some real nice real estate to hit. Love the mill site. Cool looking gun too.

    Very nice hunt Steve. You found a great bunch of keepers for your collection.
    I love the toy gun , a great recovery from the grounds strong grip.
    I'm hoping I can get out tomorrow for some much needed therapy, but a fresh batch of winter arrived with my new coil.

    nice stuff Steve. I found a triangular piece like that one in the picture with the mesh looking screen. Mine is dated 1923. Any ideas what that baby is guys, or ladies?
