V3i DFX 10 DD 6x10 DD 4x6 DD DX-1
I live in southeast Pa, west of Reading. Currently using a Whites xlt with a Sun-ray probe. I'm thinking about upgrading to a V3i. Can anyone give me any reason not to buy the V. Thanks

thats a great area for colonial and post colonial coinage my favorite kind of coins the xlt is a very capable machine i had one for a few years and its a nice smooth running detector and found alot of great coins and relics. what kind of detecting do you do (parks , schools , beaches , ect.) there are some very good v3i users here who could give you alot of insight . i'm not one of them as i currently use a dfx but am interested as what they will tell you .

I do Parks, Schools and private property. Last year I found 2 1700's coppers a V nickle and about a dozen Indians. This year I'm still working on getting permission to detect some 1800's resort property.
