    mxt settings

after trying several settings on the mxt ,i find that i like the setting 3 on disc and 7 on gain for most situations in the ground here in ma. I am not sure i really need to get into the plus situations unless i'm in a relatively trash free areas.am i wrong in thinkin this way.
If it wasn't for flashbacks, i would have no memory at all

i run 2 and a +1. That seems to do the trick for me.

I run 2 and +3. Yeah it's a little noisy but it allows the 5.3 to get pretty deep for it's size.

Gain on preset and disc on 3 here. If there is a iffy target the gain is turned all the way up to get a better target ID. Threshold is where i can barely listen to the hum (some time a little less, depends on how my tinnitus stresses me). And I always search in two-tone ID mode (relic and trigger in center position). This way I won't miss targets on the disc's edge (gold/jewelry).
