    First and Last

Went out for my typical lunch-time hunt and was able to make a decent find on my First and Last find of the hunt.

My very first hit was sounding nice and yes it turned out to be what I thought it sounded like.

A somewhat worn but yet beautiful 23' Merc.

Found a few older pennies....59', 69', and 71' and stumbled on to another nice sounding hit...

A 65 Washington quarter...now why couldn't it have been one year older...

Last hit for the day was a 47' wheatie....

I guess that will do for my 50 minutes of actual hunt time....

BTW...I put my D2 coil back on my MXT Pro and was using that today... The Merc was down around 7 and the wheatie was down a solid 8-9. Going to finish up the week with the Pro and switch back to my DFX starting next week to get some swing time with it. I think it has been lonely, as I hear it calling my name...

Feel pretty comfortable with the Pro and how it reacts compared to my previous MXT and it has been a great machine finding it's share of silver coins and rings. It is my totlot machine.

Have a great week everyone...thanks for looking.

    Isn't that so true...
I was thinking this might be the day I pull that old half dollar out of this place...I have yet to do that there and I am so sure there has to be one there that someone left me. At the very least, I was hopng for multiple silver's since the first one came so easy. rofl

    Re: First and Last

Isn't it wierd how a silver can just pop out of the ground so easily and then shut you down? lol But you did score silver, and if you could do that once an hour for 6 hours, 2x a week x 40 weeks you would get almost 500 silvers So your ratio of 1 in an hours hunt, was spectacular
