hey Dinger51 can you get a real good closeup of the back with backmark , and give as much deatil about the area you found it in ( like if it was a park find , age of park and some of the other stuff you might have found with the button ect) .

The back is too corroded to make out, but I can try to take a pic later. I found it at an old park that used to be a field. I found the park on a map as early as 1900. I have found coins dating back to the 1920's. I haven' found too much more there to help date the site. Thanks for looking Del
hey Dinger 51 , now when you say the back is too corroded is it the greenish corrosion found on brass and copper or rusty colored corrosion found on steel
