for you M6 users, how would you compare a 6x10 coil to a standard 950 coil that comes on it ?

I'm not a M6 user JT, but the 6x10 has always been a more stable coil, especially if mineralized ground is an issue. On the DFX it performs quite well. I'm sure it would do just as well on the M6. It is a DD coil and has a very narrow detection range. It has a lot of advantages in target separation and mineralization control. I know Del uses it on the DFX almost exclusively.

The 6x10 coil is a great coil. When I bought mine for the M6, I took off the stock and used the 6x10 only, for 2 years. Its found me some cool stuff! Ive never had a problem with it. I like the 10DD now for more depth, this is my 3rd or 4th 10DD. Maybe Im too rough in the woods with it
Having fun is what it is all about!

Ditto on the comments above. My wife has an M6 with a 6x10. It's far superior to just about any coil White's ever produced.
I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
Hey JT,
get a Eclipse 6x10DD. You never will regret it.
Up to date the 6x10 are the best coils ever produced by whites in my opinion. Little deeper than the 950ish, covers more ground by one sweep, better target separation (if targets are close nearby), closed design so tussocks and branches won't affect the sweep to many, very good in all ground conditions and pinpoint is dead on.
