Ok ..... back from NC. I did two afternoons of beach hunting with the Dual Surf PI.... That is one marvelous machine. Now, I only found clad, and poptops, bottlecaps and spurious iron, but whenever it signalled, there was something there. Was very busy shopping, celebrating etc, so hunt time was minimal. Both hunts were at high tide with 5-6 foot breakers. It was nice though, low fifties, not much breeze. Wish I could have hit low tide though, there were some promising looking areas. RickO

The weather was MUCH more pleasant than here... twelve degrees when I got back. I did enjoy beach hunting though, easy digging, easy to cover holes. I really like the Dual Surf PI.... will use it again when I go down there in June. Maybe have better luck then. RickO
