    A Little Bit of Everything

After nearly a week of cold and rainy weather we had a nice day for detecting Planning to meet up with a friend later in the morning I had a couple of hours to hit a place that I been to a few times before. This place has never givin' up any silver But that change today thumbsup01 It wasn't a silver coin but I dug my first silver thimble 8) along with a wheatie. Then I meet up Theola to hunt a new place I gained permission for. We spent about 5 hours there and I was able find quite a few items for the keeper pocket thumbsup01 I get to scratch another item off of my wish list too!! <: I found a nice old brass skeleton key !! Along with the key I was able to find two IH's dated 1907 & 1884, a 1960d Rosie, 1907 V nickle and few other nice relics and interesting items.

    Thanks for lookin' & HH

Hey Nice thimble Here's a chart for you on them. It goes to #13, but I have seen #14 on another web site.
    http://www.prqc.com/thimble_sizing.htm

Congrats on that and a skeleton key I love finding each of those items. I think for every 20-30 brass thimbles, I may get a silver one, if lucky. Good all around hunt.

Yeah, I've found 1 or 2 brass thimbles and 4 or 5 aluminum ones. I was starting wonder if I'd ever find one lol
