    Civil War at Fort Hill

Hidy to all . Had to go somewhere else Sat . The first picture will show why , it is one of the same pictures I put on here a few days ago of one of my hunting fields . Fort Hill is in Humboldt Ten . where Forrest made one of his raids . It is a cotton field that just got sprayed , wasnt no fun there . Burns your eyes and mouth . So this is all , top row I have no idea . next , .52 cal. minnie ,, .54 cal. minnie ,, .69 cal. ball ,, button ,, back of a button ,, tip of a cartridge box or tip of bayonet scalbert ,, rim fire shells .52 cal or .54 cal. ,, napsack hook could be Confederate cause my book shows union has a small ring close to the end ,, buttons ,, box car seal . and thats it for the cotton patch . Man was I ready to leave that place . Hope yall enjoy and happy hunting to all . By the way , I was trying my new toy or back up for the V-3 there too . Works just fine , Love the new analyzer on Hi Pro.

I was in Memphis from April 29 thru May 2 and couldn't believe all of the flooding down there. I hope the water has receded some now!

Great collection of relics from that hunt. But that place looks like a lake Can't figure out what that lead piece is on the upper left Be careful with the chemicals though, the relics have been there for a 150 years, they can wait a couple more weeks lol

Wonering if it was made into a huge piece for a chess set. Almost looks like the horse (Knight). Either way it's lead, and it's old, and it's yours thumbsup01

I found 5 of those knapsack hooks yesterday and they look almost identical to yours. Mine are definitely Union Cavalry found near a Fort in Wyoming.
