That's a nice pile of brass George. There may be a keeper of some kind hidden inside as well.Looks like you done enough deep knee bends to keep yourself fit.
For every relic that rots away........a piece of history is lost.
I'm now scared, really frightened to start detecting cellar holes lol rofl
No, seriously, I like finding even that kind of stuff (when it's old). I like old trash. rofl

Yup... gotta take the bad with the good.
If I had ta take a picture like that, I'd hafta hit Rent-a-Tool and get a forklift to get it all outa th' garage (which, BTW, is a few inches closer to Hell than when we first bought th' place). 8)
Well Joe, then you should have a lot of good scrap to sell. I smell retirement on the horizon lol

That's OK. They can have my thousands of pounds of iron, lead, aluminum, etc. (well, they WILL get a nice white gold wedding ring, but by then, I won't be needin' it anyway).
The good stuff's in a safe deposit box for our baby.

K.
So if I happen to puff up after the fact, jus' use a chisel.
I'd rather lose a bloodless digit then let a detectorist get it anyway.
