    Withdrawal

The board seems to be a bit less active lately....If it would stop constatly raining maybe we could get out and hunt and find things to post >:\ >:/

I'm starting to go through detecting withdrawal. My arm starts uncontrolably swinging back and forth and my thumb ticks up, like it's hitting the pin point mode.

I feel your pain, 2 hunts cut way way short this week, tho I did sneak a couple of silvers in today between the raindrops.

But all I can say is lets send our thoughts and prayers those who are really affected, in the Mississippi floodplain, may it pass, and pass quickly, and with no long term hardships.

Coinnut hit it on the head, you are not going to find the big silver anyway. Now calm down, do what I suggested, get a tootsie pop, and think about all the great finds that you've made in the past

    Re: Withdrawal

I've been so determined, I've hunted quite a few times in big rain thumbsup01

1 . Carry a big umbrella in one hand and then only your detector and some orange s. Flag your signals, maybe 10 or so. Go back to car and switch MD and s for your digger and pinpointer. If your umbrella is big enough, you can just lay it down and it will protect you while you're hunched over digging your hole.

    2. Or put ziplock bags on detector and don a raincoat...

    3. Hunting in the rain looks awful silly and desperate, so I try to hunt places where noone can see me rofl lol

Ha, that is funny! I'm sure that the general public thinks that all of us are verging on insane when they see us digging a 6 hole for a penny, so I can't imagine what they think when they see one of us digging a 6 hole for a penny... in a torrential downpour! lol
