Finally back out on Sunday night

A busy schedule kept me from any serious hunting these last 3 days, but I did get a short hunt in tonight. crying01 With an hour to search, I headed to the closest old park that has produced some keepers for me in the last few weeks.

I wish an hour of work would go by as fast as an hour of metal detecting. lol An hour of metal detecting feels like about 15 minutes.

Managed a few coins and a nice token from a neighboring town. In fact, Dave and I hunted the small park in this town a couple times last year and once this year.

Pretty cool token, can't say I have ever seen a rectangle one.

Wheaties and silver always make me smile, good finds thumbsup01

Love the rectangle token, pretty cool 8)

That silver dime looks like a clad, I would have dropped it in my clad pouch for sure and not my special pocket

Man, I know exactly what you mean about the time seeming to fly by when detecting. lol

That is a very neat token. I don't recall seeing one of those before. Nice short hunt. thumbsup01

Re: Finally back out on Sunday night

For a short hunt you got a silver and an excellent token I bet that is a good one. Time always flies when you are having fun lol Even when we get to a site at daybreak, it seems 3 or 4 hours goes by like nothing That is why we have to hunt for 8+ hours, otherwise it feels like 20 minutes lol
