    A request to our members

We are in the process of taking steps to promote this forum to other detectorists out there who may not be aware that we are here. As a first step it would help us a lot if you would consider telling us how you became aware of this forum. It is not required of course, but the information will be useful to us. If you would consider posting a reply here with the information, or sending a PM to one of the admins or moderators telling us how you found out about us, we would most appreciate it.

Somebody threw a brick through the front window of my house. There was a note attached that said Join American Detectorist... or else. All kidding aside it would be great to hear how everyone found the forum.

Re: A request to our members

I got a pm from Okiedigger about it. That would be the way to spread the word imo. Everyone send pm's to people they know on other forums about the forum here. It's the only way to fly. However we do understand that the holidays and usually Jan. and part of Feb. are the slowest months for forums of any kind, all of them on the net across the board. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.
