I ran some errands on lunch today, and because I'm obsessive I stopped by the grocery store to check the coinstar reject slot. Payday! Two silvers and the usual Canadian coinage. Maybe I should quite trying to dig silver and just hit all the local coinstars...

I haven't found any reject tray coins in my last ~30 trips to grocery stores. Oh well. Awhile ago, there were a good number of coins in the reject tray, so I kind of looked around, nobody was anywhere near me, and I started scooping HANDFULS of coins into my pocket. I think I ended up with like $13 in change (no silvers) and one penny- a 1909 VDB (sadly, no S mintmark).Somebody must of dumped a ton of coins in there at once, and forgot to check the reject tray to repeat the process. Worked out for me though!

I always scan the coin trays at the bank teller window. Tuesday I scored a 1964 Washington Quarter. I have gotten a lot of silver this way. I'e even scored a standing quarter and a Franklin half in recent years. Get a lot of halfs and dimes.
