Yesterday it rained all day, so a late day hunt was out of the question. Not so today though. <: So after taking care of a few important matters I grabbed my E-TRAC and headed out to a local park. I was hoping to score with a few Indian Head cents, and perhaps a couple of silver dimes, but the park was kind to me and yielded more than I asked for.
The silver - six dimes, dated 1897, 1899, 1912, 1918, 1920, and 1926.
Eleven Indian Head cents, dated 1888, 1896, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1904, 1905, 1907, 1907, 1907, and 1908. They bring my year-to-date count to 168.
I picked up some early wheat cents too, a total of fourteen. I did have a cent spill, with two wheat cents and two Indian Head cents found in one hole.
This worn 1884 V Nickel was in the same hole as the 1918 mercury dime. They had been stuck together.
And lastly, three old flat buttons and two lead hem weights.
