    Surprise Walking

I was able to sneak away for a little hunting in a new section (for me) of my local park this afternoon. It was very hot, but had a nice breeze blowing so, I didn't die of heat stroke. I was getting hits for 50 cent pieces everywhere, and digging up whole beer and soda cans >:#. On the fifth 50 cent signal up came a Walking Liberty. For me most of the coins that I dig are my first, and this is no exception. Came out of sandy soil at about 5 inches and was as beautiful as the day it was minted.

Next to a washed out sidewalk, I got a penny signal, and dug up the Wheat on the far left. While probing around in the hole looking for more loot, I got a signal further under the sidewalk (it is a fairly new walk), and out came two more wheats and a IH. These were in great shape and only had to wipe the dust off.
