    Got to thinking about this a little more. I wonder if all of
    the contents in the spill might have been in a fabric type bag originally?
    Over time the bag decayed away leaving only the metal objects.

    Could be , i didnt see any remains of anything in the hole but maybe , seems odd that someone would just drop that much and not notice pretty fast , who knows ,,,,,, lets get out to manchester one day this next week joe ,
