    BIG SILVER - - - little silver

    Went solo hunting this morning seeing that Rob is still on lock down and what with Tim's newest child just arriving. Stopped at an old house and managed to get 1 wheat, a flat button and my 1st Walking LIberty Half. Can't begin to tell you happy that made me. I then stopped at a house down the street that I hit many times before and managed another wheat and a merc. The WLH is a 1918 and the merc is 1941. Hopefully next weekend the three of us will be able to get out.

    Great finds, I was wondering why the WLH looked so weathered, but after reading the date, I know why.

    Just to clarify..I'm on lock down...not lock up rofl I've had family in town for the past 2 weeks...fittin' for sum detectin'

    My wife and I have both been lucky to each find a Walker. It sure makes you do the happy dance!

    Yours almost looks like a beach find by the scuffed look of the coin. Was the ground sandy?
