    OMG.... no nevermind

Went to the iceskating park again today. My first dig was a memorial penny. Shortly after that i got another signal, so i dug! Out popped the plug and i see a gold ring. And i grab the blob of dirt it's in and start rubbing the dirt off.
It's got five diamonds on it. Also in the blob is a small silver ring with dolphins on it. I'm real close to my truck still so i turn off the E-trac and get out my glasses and magnifying glass to take a better look. There are no markings on the gold ring. The silver one is 925 so at least that was cool. thumbsup01
I also got another first today, my first buffalo nickle! A 1926.
After i got home i cleaned the (non) gold ring up and there are places where the gold has worn off so it'll be put in the junk ring section of the treasure box. lol
And thank God they were there today mowing the grass. So my next trip will be easier swinging.

    Congratulation on your first buff!!

That gold(ish) ring was surely a heart-stopper when you dug it up. I hate when that happens.

I really like the silver ring!
