    Hello from SE Wisconsin

    Hello from Wisconsin. I found this site while reading a great article by Angel Villanueva in the Nov 2011 W&E Treasures. Have had a detector for 10 years, but have only recently started to really learn how to use it. It looks like I will be busy reading past post to learn more about this addictive hobby.

    Welcome to American Detectorist 396. Glad you found us.
    Yes... addicting to say the least. My fishing poles and boat have been collecting dust since first picking up a detector two years ago. lol
    I'm over here in Iowa so I'll be looking forward to see what you are pulling out of the ground in your neck of the woods.

    Welcome to the forum. Hope to see what you are finding.

    Really like your Chevy II. I'm patial to those old ones..

    Had bought a Nova brand new in 1972 and drove it for 20 years( did quite a few modifications on it over those 20 years-- From bone stock to a racing 454 c.i. engine and racing 4 speed I dropped in it). After working 1 1/2 years on it to a back to stock restoration-----new paint, new factory wheels, new interior and replacement stock 350 and 4 speed trans with 3.73 10 bolt posi and then driving it for about 7 months--I sold it in the summer of 1992. 8/ 8/ 8/ What the heck was I thinkin' >:{ >:{ >:{

    A pic of it about 1982.

    Charlives: Thanks for the reply. I am very happy with the T2. The T2 is better (deeper, discrimination) than the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger. I am learning that the operator is the most important part of the operation. Like the old saying it`s not the bow and arrow, it`s the indian who hits the target!

    milco: Nice to see another cheese head out there. I`m in Bristol, just west of Kenosha.
