    Saturday hunt

I've been busy reloading software on a new computer (the old one died) but managed to get out on Saturday. I debated posting as it isn't all that great but in addition to the clad (10 quarters, 28 dimes, 50 pennies [one wheat]) which I'm not posting, I found a nifty little ring. No markings inside but I'm pretty confident that it's silver.

We need to get you some silver polish. That's a fine ring though... looks like it might have some age to it. Congrats!

Yes, it's amazing how much a close up shot can reveal. I was thinking about cleaning the silver up but decided that it would be a great winter project when I can't detect.

As far as age, I tend to agree with your analysis. It was deeper than most rings I've found (about six or seven inches) not that that is a great indicator but it was also really packed in the dirt. In any case, it made the hunt for that day.
