Differential Went Out, So Did I and My Detector!

Short Hunt Brings Silver and Gold!

    Howdy Folks!
I had the day off yesterday, and should have spent a great deal of time hunting.
That did not happen. The weather was overcast and cool, and the recent snow still covered too much ground.
I went out an played around a little, but just couldn't get 'into it'.

So today, I was supposed to work. Unfortunately for me as a driver, the differential in my car is going bad.
And today it was really bad. So bad, in fact, that I decided I couldn't work with my car acting as it was.
So I called another driver in to take my place and headed home around 3pm today.

Taking my wife's car, I went out to hit a couple of sites. Today was warmer and sunny, and most of the snow
was gone from those locations I visited; all both of them.

At the first location, within minutes of starting my hunt, I found a 14k baptisimal medal. Got some clad, but my best find was the gold.
Then I went to the second location and found a nice 1964 Roosevelt dime. Silver!!!! Haven't found a silver coin in awhile, apart from that 1943 war nickel I found last week, it's been a dry spell for me!

Anyhow, when the sun set, the temperature dropped like a stone. I loaded my MXT Pro back into the car and headed for home.
Guess I'll just be satisfied with silver and gold on this hunt, although I believe more was out there and calling my name.

    My take was only:
    18 Quarters = $4.50
    3 Nickels = $.15
    7 Dimes = $0.70
    20 Pennies = $0.20
    2 Dollar Coins = $2.00
    Total = $7.55
    Coin Count = 50 Coins.

    Thanks for Looking!
    Blessings,

Glad to see you still getting gold, silver and clad on your outings.

I am digging more nickels with both my new detectors but only a few decent jewelry items. I even have been going to areas where people wear more gold rings and necklaces and getting there at dawn or just after ( on Sundays and on Modays after the weekends)---still is slim pickins.....

Are you absolutely sure it wasn't calling 'Bob'? lol
That looks like an awesome hunt. I guess there's no rush to fix the differential, is there?
