    Another shield nickel.....Nope!

    Today i hit oak park again! The area that i was gridding yesterday. No silver for me today in fact all i got was five cents. Three of the five were memorial pennies.
    The other two cents was what i thought was a shield nickel at first.
    But then i thought the numbers were wrong and the tone was wrong and it seems bigger than a nickel.
    Here's pics of the 1868 two cent piece that came out of my favorite park today.

    Excellent recovery, is this your 1st 2 center? I have two of them and wish I had more. Congrats on digging that one

    Yes this is another first. But trying to clean it up made it look worse. NO more cleaning for me. Toothbrush and soap only!

    You're really on a hot streak, RaZR! Two seated dimes and now a two-cent piece! That is an awesome coin, congrats on another successful hunt!

    Great find!!! It's in such great shape!!! | I've only found one and it's so grungy all you can see is 2 cents and barely the date (1865)
    Oldest silver-- 1838o seated dime (no stars)
