Modest finds from James Island, SC

Just a couple of pieces I found in SC about a year or so ago. The pistol ball that I found in the wood drove me crazy. I finally realized that it was in the wood I was bouncing from one side of the hole to the other :bangahead01:.... lol. There is also a piece of lead there that I am not sure what it is. There is a hole in the center of it and it appears to have teeth marks in it... :-\. Anyone know what it might be?

cool relics Miller , i had a similar lead ball in a piece of tree wood that did the same to me as well the odd lead pice with the hole is unusual but the soft lead was molded into many different things and i'm sure it had a use or served a purpose .
