    US Cavalry

    I found this pi.ece here in Concord, NC. It was in front of a house dating back to 1822 and a county line marker was in front of the house that was dated March, 1805 . Pretty old for us in Concord... lol. They have since planted a CVS pharmacy in it place... . I think this is probably early 1900's, but again I'm sure. I can't find it in any of my reference material. Any body have a guess?

    nice piece , its probably early 1900's to about WW1 era like you said , depending on the size it could be a harness chest piece (martingale) to a leather decoration piece like a saddle bossor very similar. very nice either way.
