    Lake Conroe TX

Lake is way down due to drought so I went to a high and dry public boat ramp today and scored my 1st white gold ring. It is a bit small at 1.9g of 10k. I got 2 small silver rings out of this location when I was last there. Also my hunting buddy Bugman1960 got a 10k high scholl ring there too. Lots and lots of signals at this place. I dug 60 fishing sinkers there today. It was a fun dig but I am feeling it now. First 3 pics is the ring I got today. The others are the ones I got on my last hunt there.[attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3][attachimg=4][attachimg=5][attach=5]

    Re: Lake Conroe TX

Just what I needed to hear... I have a local lake that is slightly drained down for the winter (flood control) that I have worked over the swimming beach. I have been trying to decide whether or not to try the boat ramp/dock area or not.... now I'll make it a point to try it this week for sure. Just wasn't sure what I might find there but I'd rather dig some sinkers than bobbie pins!

Nice rings there, congrats on the finds.

Good luck. I hope your boat launch area will be as productive as mine has been.
