Mike and I headed out this morning for a short hunt at a spot he found. Its old, a small piece of land, has been hunted by everyone and pickins were few. Its also loaded with iron. On they way back to the cars I got an weird, iffy shallow signal but I did get a consistant high tone in 1 direction if I swung very slow. Decided to dig the 2 and out popped a 1907 Barber quarter<: Good friends, cool finds, exercise... Gotta love this hobby!
Tomorrow morning we're heading back out to a spot that I've done very well at in the past. I hope the silver streak continues for both of us.
