    Christmas eve barber

Got out for a couple hours this morning to a site I haven't hit since spring, and it was cold (about 34). Santa came early and dropped a 1899 barber dime in my stocking happydance02 Its a nice one with a full liberty, tho it doesn't really show in the scan. I think I need some more time at this site.

Was also able to get out Thu and score a trio of modern dimes at a site I'd been hitting recently.

yes Serge , the Roman influence is there from when Rome occupied Brittania and the English rulers used similar likenessess on their coins and so did this country after it won its independence , and it still use words written in latin on them .
