    My 2nd article published

    Got my 2nd article published in Western & Eastern Treasures-------------page 18 of the Feb. 2012 issue.

    Just hit the news stands.....I bought all 5 copies they had..........I just couldn't wait for my subscription copy lol lol

    I would----- but-------The magazine now owns the published story( they paid me for it)---I don't think they would like it if I posted it on the forum.

    They pay about 3 cents a word and about 4 bucks for each photo they use. They like articles to be between 1,000 to 1,500 words....and they like lots of photos.

    I got started with it after one of the members on the AD forum here, ( his website is StoutStandards) asked me to write a review of the Garrett AT Pro I bought early last year, so he could put it on his website.

    He then said, I should write up a story on some of my detecting outings...so I did ( it was in the June 2011 issue--W&ET). About a few months later, I wrote another story, and sent it in.

    Congrats on your article being published. I received my W&E of few weeks ago but have not got to reading it yet. I will let you no what I think once I read it.
