    New to Minelab

I see this is mostly Etrac users but having always usied Whites machines which I still have the VX3 and MXT Pro which I will continue to use, but I have a new Minelab Safari on its way. I thought I at least ought to give the Minelab a try. If there are any tips to get me started I would appreciate it. I have no idea what to expect but hope to find some missed silver!

Forget everything you knew before......it's like starting over again, but once you get the hang of it, the results are amazing

Only way to learn is by going out and doing, dig the signals to learn, just as you did before. Everyone on here will give you guidance along the way.

    Moderator Note:

    Shortcut,

Please see Angel's excellent post (reply #1) in the following thread...
    http://www.americandetectorist.com/f...p?topic=8792.0

Angel had responded to both this thread and another by Kurt that was similar in nature. Unfortunately, his reply can only exist in one thread.

    Respectfully,
