Just received the new 6 X 10 coil. And I want to make sure it's really a v rated coil. The serial number on the ear say: V G 1201. Am I good to go?

hey Starman , the V-rating would matter on your dfx (they don't have the tx boost like the v3i) but i think that one is v-rated . V-rating coils have to be able to handle the extra power boost from the v3i with out overloading , the dfx ,mxt,m6 don't produce this boost so the regular and v-rated coils work equally well.

Yup! It's a V.
I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
The V rating is for the 22.5 freq. The overload with things maxed and TX on was a test 4 the V3 line of coils to see if they could be bad. Yazoo
