My Saturday Morning Hunt,(1 Off the bucket list.) With Rob and Al.

I met Rob and AL around 830, a little late start due to the weather, We hit 2 spots, an older park that has produced in the past and a small field where I nabbed a 1/2 dollar last year. Well the small park did not really pan out today, still some frozen spots, and wet wet soil. So after a bit we needed a quick Dunkin warm up. After a recharge we hit the small field, not many finds to be had, so I kept at it, I saw Rob scored a nice copper, I was now motivated to score something. After another 30 minutes of digging , I hit a 50..ish..back to 40...to 60 ish target at 3.5 , I cut the plug , flipped it and on an angel was this copper disc. I saw it was a smoothie and showed Rob the plug with the on edge print of the copper. He was impressed, well not much more from me, a few spoons, some wheats, and clad. Until I soaked the copper and noticed a date of 1787.....and an eagle ...I put 1 and 1 together and got 2. Cross one off. [s] Massachusetts Copper. [/s]

Little bit Happy. Happy Hunting !!! Thanks for looking!!!

Tim, way to go. You and Rob each scored coppers. I'm starting to think that this site had a very early home on it before the Nobels. Thats 3 coppers from this field.
