    Anyone ever seen one of these??

    I have never seen one of these before..It seems to say Standard High 20 Lour what ever that means . It VDI's +52 on the V3I and weighs 2grams.As far as I can tell it has nothing on the reverse side..Any ideas?? I would love to know what this is for sure but I have no idea..

    Looks like the back of a flat button.Nice find. Standard rich colour.

    it does says Standard rich colour and its a button missing the shank , but you can see where on the eagle it was attached . the button dates to about the 1820's

    Thanks everybody..I was thinking button at first, but I couldn't figure out why the writing would be facing you.I know nothing about buttons though.I found another pic of the same button ..Ding,Ding we have a winner!! This is one of the oldest finds I have ever found!!Thanks again!
