Its made of very hard aluminum with a gold transparent finish. Read as 25 cent on my 2500 Garrett. The lower left has letters reads PCH . Could that mean pouch. Old railroad tracks run parallel to the field built in the 1800. This tag was found some distance from the tracks though. Another metal detecting mystery. Its fun to imagine.

If you notice at the top there is a symbol of a letter. Got me thinking now. There was a train derailment in the early 1900 hundreds near this field.Back then mail and money was transported by rail. Good conversation piece anyway.

    Re: I'm Rich

That does bring up a subject that I've thought about for years.I've hunted along a river finding old coins from the 1700's and clothing buttons also. These farm fields that lie along the river at one time were wooded and hand Indian trails on both sides and was used by the settlers coming into the area. I have in the past found a number of clothing buttons located pretty much in the same area and found a old coin or two in that area also. My son and I have summarized that clothing buttons mean a good chance a coin is in the area. Saying that I often wonder if its a result of lost clothing or someone die in that area. Which brings me to my point. Suppose you do find human bones.I guess you report it to the police but do you give up the artifacts that you found ? I guess you do so they can solve the mystery. That would be news maker. Just a thought !!

Works for me. Just make sure you spend it at a gas station with an employee from a foreign country. You would not want to raise any suspicions or anything......
