It was a good weekend for digging... I got out Friday evening and hit a local park for some clad. Saturday I hit some tot lots, and hunted an old rural school which gave up a nice '44 Merc. Sunday I got pretty lucky at a local school where I landed an even 100 coins including 2 Mercs ('19 & '37), a '47 Rosie, and 8 wheats. At one point I pulled a big plug and found a big hunk of green glass at the bottom of the hole. It turned out to be an unbroken hobbleskirt coke bottle which took me a good five minutes to extract from the ground. It's a more modern version lacking embossing on the shoulder but it was still neat dig. Total for the weekend was 256 coins worth $22.65.
Happy hunting...
