Hunting the old ballfield in the woods.

I returned to the old ballfield in the woods on Monday and found a few more keepers. I decided to pick a small area and work it slowly digging almost anything that was conductive. The results were pretty good. A 46 Washington, 43 Merc, 45 War Nickle, 2 Buffalos 35, 36, 9 wheats and about 90 cents in clad with 6 Jefferson Nickels from the 40's and 50's.

Wow, great variety of old coins!

It looks like you have a great spot to hunt there. Good job on taking your time and digging all of the conductive signals, it's work but it pays off.

    Congrats on the terrific hunt!

Very sweet group of finds there! That sounds like a nice site, but you have to be in the right patient mood to get those iffy signals and keep going. WTG!
