    ground balancing spectra v3

hey all, just wondering about v3 ground balance. When I gb. my v3 sometimes the threshhold does not change, what I mean is when I pump the detector on the ground the threshold is smooth before I start and stays smooth, it does not change. Is this normal? It seems to run fine. Any ideas on this? Thank you pointer80

It's normal in soil that is not mineralized. There is a starting point for GB embedded in the firmware. If the ground you're balancing is close, the initial adjustment won't be very much...if at all.

    That's a good thing.

I wondered this myself. From time to time I get this exact behavior. Thanks John!
