    Colonial hunt after the rain

So today was a complete washout, but the weather broke in the late afternoon...so i decided to hit up an old cellar hole close by. I've pulled some nice coppers here before, but this is the youngest coin so far. All of the coppers here have been Colonial. Also got this nicely gilted button with a cool design. It cleaned up rather nice....the Harrison Campaign button was from a previous hunt....not pictured is the dozen or so coppers I haven't posted....alot of KG's, Draped Busts and Connecticuts. My laptop is broken and I have to use my living room Television as a monitor and with 3 rambunctious kids the T.V is not readily available for me. Thanks for lookin!

The coppers last week were rough. The draped bust spill was a 1800 & a 1798 and the other one was a GREEN ct copper. I'll try to get a better shot of the Harrison campaign button....it is one of the finer relics thus far.

is the back flat Jesse or are there any kind of bumps or nubs. its small and either looks like part of a small stock buckle or sash clasp.

Great finds! Those Harrison buttons are scarce. Yours looks like time took care of it well.

The other item looks like the other part to one like mine (which is silver). I think it is the latch to a leather bound book; either a bible, or maybe a journal. I mistakenly flattened mine out, but the latch was folded when I found it.
