    Return to Silver Park

Last Thursday I made my way out of town to a park I visited once last year. Four silver dimes and seven Wheat
cents found their way into my pocket on this newest trip.

Later that night Ron called asking if I had time to hunt the following day. Unfortunately I had to pass but suggested he should try the park out for himself. He managed a very nice hunt with four silver dimes, seven Wheat cents plus a bonus IH.

This morning we set off early to 'Silver Park' hoping to avoid the afternoon heat. The temperature warmed
quickly this morning but the finds made the heat very tolerable.

Three more dimes got under my coil. Not a single Wheat cent though.

    Plus a bonus Sterling ring.

Ron broke the Barber barrier at this park this morning with a very nicely detailed 1876 Seated dime.

The ground is back to very dry here. We'll return to 'Silver Park' after a good couple days of rain.

Congrats on a great hunt, it is always good to see silver come out of the ground. We have finally got some rain here in Southeastern OK, so maybe some silver will start coming out here again.lol

    Good Luck,
