Hello from North Florida and the Gulf Coast. Merry Christmas to you all as I am joining the group on Christmas Day. I'm getting beck into metal detecting after a long time away. Am now retired and have a bit more time. Hope to learn a lot from the veterans here.

Welcome from Washington state, Mike. What detector are you using? Like you, I got back into the hobby after many years and retirement. Best of luck to you, and keep us posted.

Welcome from Wisconsin! I also have come back to detecting this year from about a 35 year hiatus! Technology has really changed since then and became more enjoyable now that every dig isn't a nail!

Welcome from western MA. I was stationed at Pensacola for about a year and loved it. Looking forward to seeing your finds (we love pictures). Are you a beach hunter or coin shooter, maybe relics?
