On November 9th Tony two-cent, JKress and myself set out for a day long hunt here in Iowa. It was a beautiful day and silver was being found, but not by me. Nearing the end of the hunt, I got a strong silver reading at 7 inches and thought finally a silver for me. Was I surprised when I dug a beautiful eagle ring and Its HUGE! The inside is marked 925 sterling silver 1940 Mexico. The jewlers initials are in there too. It was a good time hunting with Tony the Illinois legend and Joe the Iowa legend.
