I got up today hoping the ground might be thawed enough to dig a couple of plugs. I went to a park not far from my house that has grassy and wooded areas. I was detecting about 45 minutes when I got a high pitched 12-46 at 6 inches. It took a while to chip thru the frozen ground, but it was worth it. i pulled out a 1906 Barber Dime. First Silver of the year. Unfortunately, that was it for the day. But a good day it was.
