I spend two more hours at the place where I dug a bunch of keepers, including a counterfeit capped bust half. This is also the place I saw trespassers walking around with guns. Well today, towards the end of my hunt I hear them actually start shooting ...about three colonial-sized fields away...but they didn't stop shooting. I have no idea what they were shooting at... I probably heard over a hundred shots. That made me want to leave quickly, but as the first shots were fired I got my coil over a copper signal...and I ain't leaving a copper signal nooo how
As I dug I was actually trying to keep a low profile so as not to get shot.
Anyone know what that copper could be? I see a right facing bust that is really off-center, to the right. The back is pretty wiped.
I love skeleton keys and conestoga bells! Oh, and I was wearing orange...AND ON ST PATS DAY!!
