This is the third straight day midas and I have gone shallow water detecting, hitting the same lake from early morning to almost noon. This time I waded out deeper than the last two hunts, detecting in water up to my neck, and it paid off big time! I scored with two gold rings and several other sterling silver and brass rings. As far as coins, I managed 30 silver coins, six of them Walking Liberty Halves, plus a good amount of old nickels and wheat cents. Today's silver coins bring my total for the year to 604.

The Walking Liberty halves are dated 1919-S, 1934, 1943, 1943, 1944, and 1945.

I picked up two Standing Liberty and six Washington quarters. They are dated 19??, 1927, 1939, 1942, 1943, 1945, 1946, and 1960-D.

There are sixteen dimes - one Barber, ten mercury, and five Roosevelt. They are dated 1902, 1918, 1925, 1925, 1940, 1940-D, 1941, 1942, 1945, 1945, 1945, 1950, 1950, 1950, 1952, and 1957.

The eleven buffalo nickels are dated 19??, 1916, 1919, 1920, 1927, 1928, 1935, 1936, 1936, 1936, and 1937.

I also found two V nickels and three wartime silver nickels. They are dated 1900, 1907, 1943-P, 1943-S, and 1943-S. I don't count the silver nickels as part of my silver total.

The Jefferson nickels are dated in the 30's and 40's.

I haven't looked at the dates on the wheat cents, but I'm hoping for some good old ones. There are twenty six in the photo.

As far as rings, I picked up nine - two gold, 18k and 10k, five sterling silver, and two brass.

There were plenty of religious pendants too.

This sterling silver bracelet is hefty.

I like this old pin.

And here are the miscellaneous items.
