The heat today was a tad too much for park hunting, so instead I hit a local swimming hole for a few hours. It sure felt refreshing to be neck deep in water. I managed to scoop up three silver coins, a 1918 Walking Liberty half, a 1943 mercury dime, and a 1950 Roosevelt dime. The only gold, but a very nice piece, is a 14kt signet ring.

This was the only nickel I picked up during today's hunt, but it's a keeper.

Old religious pendants do abound at the ponds and lakes.
