    CT Button, Pewter spoon

Got out for a hunt today with SafariScott. We hit a few sites all in one area and targets were hard to come by. I just got the F75 back from fisher and was eager to test it out. It worked perfect . First target was the little spoon was about 4 inches down, I think its tin or something. Then about ten feet from the spoon I dug the larger flat button, no design but glad to have it anyway. Two feet from the flat button was the CT Button, it had so much crud on it i didn't know what it was till I got it home. The tiny little button has a nice design on it and a shank in the back. That was 7 inches down and the F75 picked it up like it was on the surface lol. My final find was the pewter spoon. All in all I had a good day. Amazingly not one tick on me. Thanks for looking HH

hey Brandon , congrats on the Connecticut seal button | the pewter spoon with the shell motifed back was a popular design in the late 1700's and i'm sure it dates to about then .

That's your second CT this year! Did you guys go to where you were planning to ask permission? ...and I don't believe you didn't have one tick. I'll have to corroborate that story with Scott lol
