    Up to Speed (Pic Heavy)

Well it's been a while since I've made a post. I've been getting out a couple of hours here and there. I've even managed to make a few nice finds along the way... thumbsup01

A couple of weeks ago I went to a school by my self for a couple of hours. Shortly into my hunt I got a nice deep quarter reading and in a handful of dirt I see this!

Turned out to be a '46 Washington quarter thumbsup01

I also managed 7 wheats that day.

Here's one that's been there a while lol

After work one night I stopped by a park that's been pretty good to me in the past. Not far from the truck I got a Merc
That would been the only silver for the evening But I got a couple of wheats to keep me on the hunt till dark.

We went to a old house one afternoon and did a little re-hunt. We didn't stay too long. I managed a nice green 1874 IH to put in my book! |

    Plus a wheat.

Early last week I went one of my favorite parks to see if I could manage a couple of keepers. And the place didn't give up any silver this time but I did manage my first Buff from the place! thumbsup01
Plus a few wheaties and a deep Charms Coin >{ lol

    Almost caught up.... lol

Yesterday we went back to that same park. Pulled 2 more wheats, my second buff from this park a 1919 (only 3 inches deep ).
But true to form for this place, as I'm walking/ hunting towards my truck I got a choppy 12-44 at 5-6 inches deep
To my surprise it was a 1898o Barber dime! Plus this lead Barbie necklace charm

    The backs..

A better look at the Barbie charm...

    The back side...

Also this week. My runner-up prize from Del's August Challenge contest came in the mail!
The 1863 Army & Navy patriotic token!!
Here it is next to the 1874 IH for size comparison

If you've made it this far... Thanks for stickin' with me |) lol
    Thanks for lookin' & HH

Thanks Thiltzy |) Yeah I don't know too much about the token I haven't really looked into it. It was kind of a.... ... cool disappointment. If you know what I mean. lol I was thinking it was a IH. Came in similar to one and pretty deep too. Around the 8 inch mark. :: And out pops this aluminum token. That I scratched 8/ But I didn't have one of those yet. So it's still a cool find! lol
