    Sat Tearout Hunt

    Another short little hunt on Sat, another little silver, it sure was a nice day, warm and 55 degrees! 1940 merc and 1911 & 1928 wheat cents.

    Congrats on the Merc and wheaties, Darren!

    I don't know why, but I don't find very many Mercs dated 1940. In all my years of detecting I have only found one.

    Nice hunting and on your merc and wheats. How is the temp out there? Our mornings are starting out cold but it warms up during the day.

    Thanks Al! Been real mild in the 40's and 50's. I will hunt until all the ground is frozen no matter what the temps are. Once the open spots are frozen, I move in to the woods.
